Hand-forged from reclaimed railroad spikes, the RSK-03 blends history, craftsmanship, and function, transforming steel with a story into a practical tool. Measuring between 8 1/2- 8 5/8" from tip to pommel, it boasts a brute de forge finish, preserving the raw texture of the forging process. The edge is carefully hand-honed on a whetstone to ensure sharpness.

Please note:

• Each knife is handmade. While your knife will closely resemble the product photo, small variations in shape, finish, and texture make every RSK-03 truly one of a kind.
• Railroad spikes are made from low to medium-carbon steel, designed for toughness and durability rather than edge retention. While some spikes may contain slightly more carbon than typical mild steel, they don’t reach the hardness levels of specialized high-carbon knife steels. Because of this, blades forged from railroad spikes will require regular sharpening to maintain their edge over time.
• This knife isn’t meant as a heavy-duty, “use-and-abuse” tool, but it shines as a unique display piece, meaningful heirloom, or general-use blade
